My name is Iliyan Dzhondzhov. I create one-of-one jewellery in Sofia. I’m interested in what a piece can hold: a person you love, a moment you earned, a part of yourself you want to remember. No two lives carry the same story. I don’t think their jewellery should either.
In a world where images and objects can be copied endlessly, I want there to be a real person behind a real piece. What you see here is the finished jewellery as it exists. Each design is made once, with no edition waiting behind it.
I create some pieces from my own ideas, then let them find the person who recognises something of themselves in the finished work. If available, they can acquire that piece as it is. A private commission begins with you instead: your story, a design made for you alone, and a conversation with me from the first idea to the moment I personally place the piece in your hands.
